A soothing breeze flies over the ocean, hitting land, dancing with the lightest grains of sand and continues breaking through the open windows into my personal sphere. Giving everything it touches a soft warm tickle, wrapping its breath around my freezing fingers. It feeds warmth from the outside whereas none of such can be found inside. At least it feels like never any heat could stream off my body again.
With a certain degree of annoyance I command my numb limbs to move. Carefully and slower than expected I prise myself up, ignoring the deafening cracking coming from my bones as same as the pain rushing through my stiff body. Eventually sitting in an upright position and slightly exhausted I force myself to open both eyelids without them dropping close immediately, shielding away the world around me. They must weight tons, but some minutes later I am able to take in all colours, each profile and every stir without falling back into a comatose-like repose again.
I watch the huge ball glowing in the darkest shade of orange, burning down its energy and radiating an immense power through the universe. The dusky water underneath absorbs most of the little light into its depth, hardly appearing to be satisfied by the never ending intake. However, always hungry for even more sparkles to gather, as long as the whole ball would finally expire, comprised by a deep black.
Once the energy ball lapsed calmly into all absorbing gravity a new era will break. An era of coldness and darkness, only transfixed by bluish white sprinkles every now and then on its tight cover. Another kind of energy will expand, giving all those tiny, never seen but unforgotten creatures the chance to lead their life when no one actually cares for it. The time, when the world falls asleep, regenerates for a new day of common busyness and leading a life together yet apart from anyone else, the time only guarded by shadows and the eyes of a masked firmament.
It is my time of coming alive.
