I discovered my love for stories when I first learned to read. I would always read after my bedtime, and because I didn't have enough light, I would drag my pillow, a blanket, and an entire bag of books to my doorway so I could read. I nearly died multiple times doing that because when my parents would check on me, and they would nearly step on my head.
My favorite genre is most likely romance. I can't really read anything else anymore just because I can't get into it easily. And of course, since I read romance so much, I tend to write romance too.
Honestly, I prefer stories because I can't read or write poetry. It's just not interesting to me. I love detail way too much.
Writing is a hobby for me, but I'm still in school, so I can't write all the time. If I could, I would write 24/7. I want to go professional, but I'll see how far my story ideas go, and decide from there.
I love all arts, so I'm not exactly picky. I love painting, and listening to music. There's so much you can learn from just listening to a song or looking at someone else's work.
If you've ever read "You'd Be Mine", you know where the name "Willow" comes from; it's the name Annie and her band came up with. It's called "Under the Willows". My old neighbors had a weeping willow tree in their backyard, so that's where the weeping part came from. As you probably already know, Willow Thorne isn't my real name. It's just a pen name. I won't ever reveal my actual name until I see that my writing actually gets somewhere, and then I might. You'd be surprised to know, I'm young. And this is where I won't say anything else.
Favorite book? Oh... well you just opened an entire can of worms you're going to regret ever touching. I'm a HUGE reader. In middle and Elementary school, I'd lug a whole stack of thick books with me wherever I went. Then my parents gave me my kindle as a gift. Thinking about it though, it was probably so I didn't break my back any more than I already have. At my last count, my kindle holds a little over 500 books on it. All downloaded. Although, it does have 100 pages of shelves, and each shelf holds 6 items, so... yeah. Let's just say it's a lot. Basically, whenever people ask me what y favorite book is, I'll usually tell them what I think they want to hear. Truth is, I don't have one. I can't compare books and stories that are completely different fairly, it's impossible! Every story is amazing in its own way.
Fun fact about me... I don't have plans. Ever. Sooo.... I'm the impulsive cryptic in the back, yes, hi. It's me.
