Profile text

Hello, fellow creature! I'm just a thing from somewhere that likes to write. I mostly write poems, but I've attempted to write fiction in longer forms. (I end up losing interest pretty quickly.) If you enjoy anything I write, or if you have any ideas as to how to improve it, do not hesitate to comment on my works or pinboard. (PLEASE help me patch my works together as refined masterpieces. I'm very bad at doing so by myself.) Oh, and my pronouns are they/it.

Farewell, baguettes!

Poems ()
Writings that should give you a pretty good idea of how insane I am.
Challenges and Collections ()
Any challenges I have attempted. So far, I haven't actually finished any. However, some of the individual chapters may still be worth reading.
Unsorted Works ()
These works have not been sorted into a bookshelf yet.
Novels ()
Big books I've attempted.
Short Stories ()
Like Poem's slightly smarter cousin.
Abandoned Stories ()
These were stories that I quickly lost interest in. Read them if you want, but they're not the best.

Springflowers
The house of Springflowers stands for the untamed urge to create. Its members live and breathe art - wild, emotional and not bound to rules. They tend towards very experimental styles and like to explore unconventional thoughts, far from any tried and tested paths.

A short interview
Is writing a hobby for you or are you planning to go professional?

A lot of the writing I do is for school assignments. But I enjoy it most when there are no rules to follow, no rubric to check, and no grades to worry about. I have many other interests, and writing for me will most likely stay a hobby, but my plans could change.

Are there other arts you enjoy. Like music, painting or something else?

All the arts. Basically anything you can think of. I am a very expressive person. Obviously, I love to write, I LOVE being a musician, I draw now and then (but I'm not that good), I do photography, and since joining Belletristica, I've dabbled in graphic design, mostly for book covers.

How and when did you first discover your passion for the world of literature?

If I had to pinpoint a time, it would probably be first grade. Even before then, I loved listening to people tell me stories. As soon as I learned to read, I loved them even more. And in first grade, I just couldn’t stop writing. Then again, an “essay” in first grade usually just consisted of five badly constructed sentences. But my teacher was very supportive of my handwritten scribbles. It’s only gotten more complex from there.

Do you favor stories or poetry? Or rather a mix of both?

Balance is always a good thing. I always have a good novel on my desk, but I enjoy reading poetry, especially when I don't have a lot of free time.
