Wanderers don't feel like they belong to any of the four great houses, or they somehow identify with all of them at once. Whatever the case, they made the active decision to stay free and independent.
About me

I'm a college student feeling a bit disenfranchised with my environment, that is, I always feel I'm doomed to be in places where I will never fit. Having been in two high-schools and one business college before settling in my current institution, I can say that I have never fit in those environments the way I would have wanted.

I live in a boring city, in a boring country with a lot of internal problems. I used to be very, almost blindly, idealist during my high-school years, so yes, I'm a former communist, current centrist. Something that has failed big-time will always fail big-time. That's a lesson I try not to forget when thinking about why I left communism. So, I want my country to change, but currently don't know how they should do it. I try not to think about it too much. Politics in my country can be really poisonous, especially university politics, so I almost never participate. It's for the best, I guess.

Romance anime is that one thing that either makes me or breaks me, the latter being the nowadays standard, having already watched most of the romance collection in Crunchyroll and the fansubs. According to the AniDB, I have wasted around 61 days watching anime. So... there's that. Videogames used to do the same, but those days have long passed. Music is the other form of entertainment I like, though my tastes can be a little... wild and incoherent. One day I'm listening to Dr. Dre, the other I'm listening to the The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion soundtrack, and yet the following day I would be listening to Matsushita. It is really bizarre.

Got here because I wanted to try something new in a community-based site, not something as frivolous and banal as Wattpad or pixiv, sites where most people are just concentrated in doing their own thing with little pacience for the others. I had almost no success there either. All over the internet they said this little site was very promising for people like me, so I hope things will be different here.

How did you come up with your username?

It's my actual name. Yes, I'm Chilean, and my name is Chinese (long story), and well, I don't like it that much, but it's so unusual and uncommon that I sometimes choose it as my username. Maybe its because I'm kinda embarrased of the other usernames I use at other sites, I don't know.

What is your greatest dream?

My greatest dream would be to see my novel be adapted into an anime. I love anime, and I'm frustrated at the fact there's not very much military-themed, serious-plotted anime. There are only ecchi or slapstick comedy military anime nowadays. So my dream would be to be one of the first creators of military material to have the opportunity of translating his work into anime. That's my fantasy.

Would you tell us about your current project?

Well, my current project is a military/dark fantasy novel about an elite unit of misfits, a somehow dysfunctional group people who lack any military education or training but are, somehow, the best soldiers their country has. That country is a fictional amalgamation of real-life countries and organizations, being a little bit UN, a little bit US, a little bit EU, and a little bit USSR. Their enemy is a dangerous and vile magic kingdom inspired by Nazi Germany and evil, occult empires found in dark fantasy works and games. So, in this story, the elite unit has to fight the enemy and use their wit, their abilities and experience to succeed.

What's your favorite book? Or your favorite books, if there are more.

Cien Años de Soledad, by Gabriel García Márquez. A timeless Latin American classic.

Are there other arts you enjoy. Like music, painting or something else?

Nope, I guess. I like drawing, but I'm not good at it. And painting is very frustrating for me.

Is writing a hobby for you or are you planning to go professional?

Hobby, for now. I'm an International Relations college student, planning to work in the shipping industry, so writing stories is not part of my foreseeable professional future. However, if things turn out to be successful and fun, I may give it a try. Frankly, it's too early to decide.

Do you like to have a plan or are you a discovery writer?

Mostly a discovery type one. I write as things come to my mind. Surely, I have a little bit of planning, as there are some themes that I like to think from beforehand, but most chapters are thought on-the-spot.

Do you favor stories or poetry? Or rather a mix of both?

Stories. Poetry is fine to read, but not to write or analyze. I had poetry analyzing and writing sessions while we were practicing for English Language IGCSE and I found it very hard, because I like to think about things in a practical, pragmatic way, and poetry analysis can be somewhat non-sensical at times. So I like well-structured stories that actually make sense.

What genres do you enjoy to read and write the most?

I like to write action-adventure, dark fantasy and military stories, and also mafia-type crime stories, both of them with exotic twists. In regards to reading, nowadays I mostly read non-fiction web articles and news media. I used to like reading fiction a lot, especially adventure, but at some point, I stopped reading fiction books and now I'm kinda cozy with non-fiction, so I haven't read a complete fiction book in a while.

How and when did you first discover your passion for the world of literature?

Years ago. It was when I was starting high school. We usually wrote essays and fiction stories, and I liked fiction stories the most. I didn't like, however, when my creativity was limited by school guidelines, so I really wrote stories by myself well after I graduated.
