And now the english version:

Mark Manson: "Models - Attract Women Through Honesty"

Such a good start… but then the crash.

I would have loved to recommend the book „Models“ by Mark Manson wholeheartedly.

Because the first 4 Parts I – IV of the book are on a very good way.

He describes how a man learns to become authentic, to accept rejection and to increase the chances of meeting women, who are „receptive“ (discusting wording, my opinion) for the kind of person one is.

But in „Part V – Honest Communication“ he unfortunately completely destroys the whole good work on oneself.

He refers to the old and shabby tricks of the Pick-Up-Scene, stereotypizises women, requests his readers to deliver a perfomance in certain situations (so practically everything he dismissed himself in the first four parts of the book!) and never even once mentions that one has to ASK to create consens (which should be the most important thing in relationships).

Instead he talks nonsense about being the dominant alphamale and claims that a man can thereby get EVERY „receptive“ woman.

This might even work for the type of women who fancy men like Mark Manson and therefore are „receptive“ to him, which is why his fallacy is somehow comprehensible.

For him it works, so why shouldn’t it work for everyone else?

But: He is authentically himself and therefore a CERTAIN type of women is „receptive“ to him.

But in his book he claims that behaving like him ALWAYS works.

And therefore he again reduces women in generell to ONE SINGLE stereotype.

Namely the type that fancys guys like him.

That’s why, dear men / readers of this book:

Please forget the content of Part V: Honest Communication.

Unfortunately it is worthless to you.

Unless you all want to become copies of Mark Manson instead of being your authentic self.

And that is by the way „neediness“ and therefore unattractive.
