Ere the sun falls from the heavens
Her light turns skies to red, to gold
Gently falling on our faces
Defeats the dark, so brave and bold
Thinking of my life I sit down
The hopes are washing over me
Closed my eyes, I hear the wind sing
"A journey vast, it waits for thee"
While the sun falls from the heavens
Her light, it fades behind a hill
Longing fills me, for her glimmer
I want it back, it is my will
Shadows trace the wrinkles on my face
"Oh wind, where has my sunlight gone?"
"Search and you shall find" he answered
"For you're a stag now, not a fawn"
Further falling, she turns ashen
I shudder, feeling cold and frail
Nightfall spread across the the cosmos
And like the sun, my skin turns pale
"Please, don't go!", I begged my spirit
The world's ahead, I'm falling back
"All my dreams still need fulfilling!"
My vision's blue, then gray, then black
"Zephyr, west wind, I feel fleeting"
My voice brought forth a quiet weep
"All adventures have to finish"
He sang so soft, I fell asleep
