You are very excited – the „Landesgartenschau“ (horticultural show/garden show) is about to start in your town/ in a town nearby in a few days.The preparations have been ongoing for months and you got infected by the hype.A reason for that is maybe that there will be a bigger area, about which people tell all kinds of rumors – an area, surrounded by a fence, partly surrounded by a forest and the rest also closed and protected with privacy shutters so that you can’t see inside. Something new, sensational, jaw stunning should lie behind. Is it only advertisement or is there more about it?

The curiosity getting the better of you, you’re sneaking to the area two hours before dusk – maybe accompanied by friends or someone else.To your astonishment, the door is open, although you can’t see anybody.

Are you going in? If so – only to the front part or also to the mysterious area?

This prompt is a bit more difficult, so this time here are some ideas which are longer than the prompt itself.

The text could be suitable for the spring medal.

If you like to write poetry – I could well imagine doing that.

A possibility could be to describe the gardens/ nature/ plants/ animals. Think of a beautiful pond, romantic benches or things like that. Maybe there is also a butterfly house oder other special things? Romantic lights and soft music playing in the background?

That there is nobody to be seen doesn’t have to mean that there is no one there.

Has someone forgotten to close the door or is it just an invitation – from good or bad spirits?

The closed area could be many things: just a very beautiful place in this very big area. Or a meeting point for young and old?

Mabye there is a restaurant, a small bar, ice bar, café – just think of the open gate again? Afterwork party for the workers? Other party?

All these scenes and ideas from above could be imaginable with fantastic elements or beings – elves, fairies or else? Even a Belle- Fanfiction? Mysterious light play or magic? An invitation for sorcerers?

It’s two hours before darkness falls, so you can also play around with that. In darkness everything is more mysterious und you see less.

You could also think of something evil or dangerous, which is waiting for the protagonist.As always you can chose the gender.
