I'm aware that there are some people who think Emmy should reprise her role as Christine Daaé in Phantom now that she's older and her vocals are more mature. While her vocals have matured and are even more beautiful, I respectfully disagree about her having another turn as Christine. Hypothetically, I would only want her to if Gerry and Patrick and the rest of the 04 film cast were asked to do a remake. However, I think Gerry, Emmy, and Patrick have moved on. Yes, Andrew Lloyd Webber could persuade them to do a remake with the promise of a big, fat paycheck, but Gerry expressed years ago that he isn't hoping to get a phone call about reprising his role as Erik and is skeptical that Andrew would ask him to reprise his role as the Phantom. I don't want a remake of the 04 movie because I'm perfectly happy with the 04 movie. And no, I don't want a 04 cast version of LND. LND is awful. Also, I love Emmy's voice when she was in Phantom 2004.
