Though I consider all the works in this compilation improvements upon their originals, even if only by a change of punctuation (Days 3, 13 & 18), it is important to remember where one came from, and most of all to remember the original work, so that we can see how far we've come.
As such, in the interests of history, and to freely satisfy any curiosity you might have, here are the links to the original AllPoetry listings for each of these poems.

Also, I would like to thank Brian T. Duffield (https://allpoetry.com/Brian_T_Duffield) for the idea to piece together the final stanza of a poem from the first line of its other stanzas, which I used in Imperfect Gentleman; I first saw this technique in his poem, Elegy, in which he used it to much greater effect than me.
The bonus poem, Herne's Old Hunt, was a poem I wrote a year later, for Hallowe'en 2019. I wanted to include it because it gives a contrast in word choice, structure and style between two versions of me a year apart, and because I like it a lot and wanted to revisit it as well.
Writing is a journey that never finds its rest, and I have no doubt that one day I'll look upon all I've written and think it rubbish. But in the meantime, I hope you enjoyed whatever this was, because I certainly enjoyed writing it.
