Hello dear community,
today I have the honor again to announce some news to you after our meeting.
1) I would like to start by telling you about a little “ritual”: Our monthly meetings always start and end with the question of whether “everyone is still on board”? So you can see that we take the project really seriously and constantly ask ourselves: does our project have a real chance? Do we all still see ourselves as being able to pull this off, even if it becomes clearer after every meeting how “much” we have to deal with? This time too we all agreed: Yes, we're there! Yes, we want to do that!
2) And because we know that you also care about Belletristica and want to do something, we thought of something.
We would like everyone here to enjoy Belletristica until the end, to celebrate together the days that Belletristica continues to offer us a refuge, and to remember how much we love Belle!
And we do it together, because we are all part of this wonderful community! We stick together ^.^
With this in mind, we would like to "support" community events until the end of the year. That doesn't mean that everyone has to come around the corner with an idea and *huge Parties* are organized every day, but there are so many wonderful events taking place on Belletristica that are unfortunately overlooked far too often.
We would like to drum up a little buzz for you so that the community becomes more aware of it and everyone can participate and continue to celebrate the community.
How do we want to do this?
So far, event advertising has only taken place via the event calendar and the trade guild. We would now like to offer everyone the opportunity to post advertisements for your event ONCE in the infopoint group. Gladly with a short description of what it's about (and a link if necessary).
In order to avoid that the messages are all spammed away soon, we would put these "advertising messages" internally in the infopoint group (however, this may take a moment until those responsible have time to list everything, so please have something Indulgence!)
Sounds good? Then here is the link to the group:

3) And now for something you've probably been waiting very excitedly for *asks for a drum roll*...the MVP list!
MVP = Minimum Viable Product
Or also: What the Shattered Throne should look like in its first stage.
The real programming phase "only" starts in April, but our dear main programmer has already researched the "most important" functions and is 99.99999999999999% sure that she can implement them right from the start.
*Note: Of course there is still a 0.1% chance that something won't work, so we hope for your understanding if something is missing at the start*
-> Note: All *-marked features should still be enjoyed with caution! <-

Important for the moderator:
(We left out some functions because they are not intended for the public)
Own mod channel (for exchanging and reading, analogous to a chat)
Insight into new things: books, users, comments
Banning users (including all parental controls)
private Chat with users
IP check (4/6 eyes principle)
Pseudonym check (4/6 eyes principle)
Mod seal & tourmaline ring in profile
Mod seal & tourmaline ring as chat command
Adjust age settings for books
Remove covers from books
Unpublish chapters/books
Be able to retroactively adjust fairy dust (new system)
Ticket system (Still in discussion phase, but will exist!)
Push messages to all users on the dashboard (4/6 eyes principle)
Juridicum readable for all users
What is meant by the 4/6 eye principle?
For example in the case of “IP Check”. Sometimes it is necessary to view things that might restrict the user's privacy.
In order not to give the moderators any "power" that could be "easily abused", we want to introduce a 4 or 6 eyes principle.
->e.g.: Mod A wants an IP check from User X for whatever reason. But he can't do it without 1 or 2 other mods agreeing to it.
--> The reason here could be, for example: The user is behaving suspiciously and it is assumed that this is a banished returnee.
So you see, we want to respect the privacy of every user. These functions are really only intended in the event of “suspicion of abuse”!
Note: A “we’ll see” or “we still discuss it” doesn’t mean that we want to discuss it with you. Please don't get us wrong, but "too many cooks spoil the broth" is very true here. It is also important to us to maintain Belletristica at its core and only change the features for optimization!
Everything that is not listed here does not mean that it will be eliminated, it just has no priority at the moment (e.g. gamification) and may follow later.
If you have any questions or don't understand something, please ask at the info point. This time we reserve the right to simply “ignore” questions that go too far into the future/into detail or make suggestions like, “I would think it would be great if xy was implemented like this and that.”
**this is actually something that happens in the german community quite often, so please don't take it to heart**
To clarify again: Nothing has been programmed yet! We can't answer any further details about this yet, unless the wording is unclear to you. E.g.: “What do you mean by xy?”
Think of it as a to-do list that we want to tick off for the MVP and are pretty sure we can do it! ^.^
4) Last but not least!
Last time we told you about the communications task force and now we have recently had two new members in this task force (not in the core team!)
I would like to introduce one of them today:
Feyra S. Moon
*applauds vigorously*
In our eyes, this user really stood out by, among other things, supporting the community and answering or forwarding important questions.
Her job is to continue to be there for the community and to act as a link between the community and the core team, especially when we are a little too busy and have less time for you.
Note: However, this does not mean that you should write to her privately with questions or other concerns. That's what the Infopoint group is still there for!
This also doesn't mean that Feyra has decision-making power, this still belongs to the core team (according to the majority decision principle).
So if anyone has something important to say, please let us know in the Infopoint group. If something is too private for you and you want to settle it via PMs: write this in the info point too! (e.g.: Hello, I would like to clarify something privately with the core team, who can I write to?")
Then one of us who has time at the moment will be happy to get in touch.
5) Then just some news about the FAQs
The FAQ has been updated and now includes the following points:
- When will the core team meetings take place/When will there be new announcements?
- What do I do if I want to reach the core team via PM?
- Where can I find the MVP list?
(If explanations for individual points are needed here, I would then
adapt them later to the FAQs to make them easier to understand!)
Summary:
1. Our ritual at monthly meetings: reassurance whether we all still want to go through with this? And yes, we want that!
2. In order to support community cohesion, we would like to promote the community events on Belle ONCE until the end of the year. How?
Put your advertising message + link in the infopoint Group, we'll add this later to the internaly group, so that it won't be spammed away
3.Introducing the MVP list
(Or also: What the Shattered Throne should initially look like.
->Please scroll up to point 3, I can't summarize that :/
4.Introduction of the new communications task force members.
5.Update FAQs:
- When will the core team meetings take place/When will there be new announcements?
- What do I do if I want to reach the core team via PM?
- Where can I find the MVP list?
(if necessary with adjustments for clarity)
Thanks for reading and your support!
