Kipling: "I'm surprised you wanted to meet at all. Didn't think that you consorted with... my kind."
Cas: "I need information. Does any demon know where Dean Winchester is?"
Kipling: "I'm sorry. You lost him? That's... interesting. How is it that you lost Dean? I thought the two of you were joined at the..."[glances down in a suggestive way] "... you know, everything."
Cas: "Just answer the question."
Kipling: "You see, I could... except, not to be crass, but what's in it for moi?"
Cas: "Your life."
Kipling: "Come again?"
Cas: "I'll speak slower... You will tell me everything you know, or I will burn you to ash right here and right now." 14.01
Cas: "Jack... You don't have your powers. Your grace should regenerate in time but until then..."
Jack: "I am useless. I can't kill demons, I can't find Dean and Michael is in our world and I can't stop him. I can't do anything. I don't have anything."
Cas: "Oh Jack... That's just not true. You got me. You have all of us. You have your family. And - and we are going to find Dean and we are going to beat Michael and we're going to do it together. We - Because that's what we do." 14.01
Cas: "Jack, um... Mourning what you've lost... it's wasteful. Might be smarter to focus on what you still have."
Jack: "You don't understand what I'm going through."
Cas: "Yes, I do - a little. At the time of the Great Fall, when angels were banished from heaven, I lost what I thought was everything. I had no grace, I had no wings. I felt hopeless and useless."
Jack: "What did you have left?"
Cas: "Well, uh... well, I had Sam and Dean. But I had something else that was extremely helpful. I had myself. Just the basic me, as, uh... as Dean would say, without all the bells and whistles. You know, Sam and Dean, they weren't born with their expertise. They've been at it since they were children. Failing, winning, developing over the years. Patience, persistence - those are skills too. The past, where you come from, that's important, but it is not as important as the future and where you're going." 14.02
Cas: "Dean..."
Dean: "Cas."
Cas: "I'm sorry. I wanted to be there, but we feared that Michael would sense my presence."
Dean: "Sam told me. Ain't no thing. (...) Speaking of clean up, I need a shower. Still ok. I promise." [leaves the room]
Cas: "Sam. Dean, how is he really?"
Sam: "I don't know."
Cas: "Why would Michael just give up his vessel like that?"
Sam: "I don't know."
Cas: "And why was Michael helping monsters?"
Sam: "Cas, truth is we don't know anything." 14.03
That attempt at a smile from Dean, and Cas sees right through it. His face shows how his heart is breaking for Dean.
Dean: "So, Cas, I'm going to need you to get in my head, do the whole Vulcan mind meld thing because if I can't remember what happened I'm going to need you to drag it out of me, ok?"
Sam: "Wait a second, you sure about this?"
Dean: "Yeah, I can handle it."
Cas: "Dean."
Dean: "Cas, c'mon hit me."
[Cas touches the scar and they see flashbacks of a cloaked figure stabbing Michael in the arm.] Cas: "Dean, who was that?" 14.03
Lora: "Is Castiel your dad?"
Jack: "One of them." 14.03
Cas: "I feel the need to do something. And I think Dean's right. We can't afford to overlook any possibility. He seems to be taking this particularly hard."
Sam: "Yeah, he was pretty rough on Jack at the beginning, and I don't think he's forgotten. And I know he hasn't forgiven himself. You know, he's lost people, we've all lost people, but..."
Cas: "This feels different. Losing a son feels different." 14.07
Castiel: "You're the Empty."
The Empty: "I'm taking him."
Castiel: "Take me."
The Empty: "Deal. When you finally give yourself permission to be happy, that's when I'll come." 14.09
Jack: "Cas. The deal you made - why can't Sam and Dean know?"
Cas [inhales deeply]: "They can. I - I just don't I don't want them to. They don't need that burden. You don't need that burden."
Jack: "Of course I do. You did that for me."
Cas: "You know, the Empty said that it wouldn't come for me until I had finally given myself permission to be happy, but with everything we have going on, I don't see that happening anytime soon. This life may be a lot of things, but it's rarely happy." 14.09
(German syncro: "The Empty will only take hold of me when I give myself permission to be happy, but with everything we have going on, I don't see that happening anytime soon. This life has a lot to offer to me, but hardly any true happiness.")
"Impossible odds feel like home." Dean 14.09
"It's just a dream, Dean. That's all it is. Please, you have to - you have to try to remember, because the people in your life - in your real life, out there - we need you to come back." Cas in Dean's mind 14.10
(German syncro: "Please, you have to... you have to try to remember. Because there are people who love you, in your real life, out there. Who will risk everything to get you back.")
"Oh, Cas... I believe in you." Michael!Dean 14.10
Michael in Dean: "Look at you. Playing nursemaid to a nephilim. Nothing like the Castiel I knew. He would've never been so... anemic."
Cas: "You're confusing loyalty and compassion with weakness."
Michael: "Tell me. Why do you love this world enough to risk your own life?"
Cas: "Tell me. Why do you hate this world enough to burn it to the ground?" 14.10
Well, in 15.18 we get an answer to Michael's question... Cas loves this world enough to risk his own life, because Dean is in it.
"You only tolerate the angel because you think you owe him, because he gripped you tight and raised you from Perdition." Michael to Dean 14.10
Sam: "And Cas and Jack, you haven't even told them."
Dean: "Okay, well, yeah, that's because I'm not good with the whole big goodbyes, alright? I-I-I don't need to get shaky on this thing."
(German syncro: "Okay, you know, I'm just not good at saying goodbye. That would create uncertainties that I may not be able to cope with.")
Sam: "Wouldn't be the worst thing."
Dean: "You know what Michael wants to do, you know that this will stop it, and you know that there's no other way. So, just put the end of this trip outta your head, okay?" 14.12
Dean: "You ever think about when we were kids? I know I wasn't always the greatest brother to you."
Sam: "Dean, you were the one who was always there for me. The only one. I mean, you practically raised me."
Dean: "I know things got dicey... you know, with dad... the way he was. And I just... I didn't always look out for you the way that I should've. I mean, I had my own stuff, you know. In order to keep the peace, it probably looked like I took his side quite a bit. Sometimes when I was... when I was away, you know it wasn't 'cause I just ran out, right? Dad would... he would send me away when I really pissed him off. I think you knew that."
Sam: "Man, I left that behind a long time ago. I had to. And if we're gonna get through this, I-I have to do like you said and... try and keep my mind off of where we're going. So, if we could not have conversations that sound like... deathbed apologies, I would really appreciate it." 14.12
(German syncro: "I had my own problems. And in order not to get punished, I often adopted Dad's views." ... "That sounds like deathbed confessions.")
Cas [on phone]: "Dean! It's so good to hear from you."
Dean: "Oh. Well. good. Uh, listen Cas. Uh, Sam and I are working this case."
Cas: "You're working a case? That is so good to hear. So, I assume that means you're not going through with it, because I have to say, Dean, this plan of yours, it was born of - of desperation, not reason."
Dean: "My plan?" [looks at Sam]
Cas: "I-I know that I'm not suppose to know what I know, but..."
Dean: "Look, I'm fine with my plan, okay? We can talk about my plan later."
Cas: "Dean. You are making a terrible mistake. (...) Wait, Dean, Dean. We need to have a conversation."
Dean: "Look, I really got to handle this right now, okay? So, thank you, and uh... it's good to hear your voice."
Cas: "Dean?"
Dean [ends the call, looks at Sam]: "Really?"
Sam: "Dean, it's Cas. I had to tell him." 14.12
Dr. Rashad: "Sometimes letting go is the right choice."
Dean: "Tell me about it." (...)
[Sam follows Dr. Rashad into Donatello's room. Cas stops Dean from following them.]
Dean: "So, doctor, checking in on old uncle Donny, huh?"
Cas as Doctor Novak: "Hey, Dean." [puts a hand on his shoulder, turns Dean to face him] "What happened to him, that was my fault. It was necessary. But it doesn't mean that I don't regret it. It doesn't mean that I don't wish that there could've been another way."
Dean: "I know the feeling."
Cas: "Oh, no. No, please don't compare this with your suicidal plan. Just stop."
Dean: "Why don't we talk about that later?"
Cas: "Because, according to your plan, there won't be a later."
Dean: "Cas... if you are a friend of mine, then you will understand that I have to do this and you won't try to stop me. You think this is easy on me? It has to be done."
Cas: "So, then, this is goodbye?" 14.12
Cas: "Well, then, I-I can fix him."
Dean: "Wait. How? I thought he was too far gone."
Cas: "Dean, if there is a spark, a hope, then I have to try. You taught me that." 14.12
"I do believe in us. I believe in all of us. And I'll keep believing until I can't. Until there's absolutely no other way. But when that day comes - if that day comes... you have to take it for what it is - the end. And you have to promise me that you'll do then what you can't do now, and that's let me go. And put me in that box." [Dean looks at Cas] "You too. Now, you heard me. Let's go home." Dean to Sam and Cas 14.12
John: "Now you live in a secret bunker with an angel and Lucifer's kid. (...) I guess that I had hoped, eventually, you would... get yourself a normal life, a peaceful life, a family."
Dean: "I have a family." 14.13
Cas: "Hey, Dean?"
Dean: "I'm fine."
Cas: "What you're doing, even just sitting here and having a cup of coffee, is a Herculean feat. I can't imagine the willpower it's taking to... keep Michael imprisoned."
Cas: "Are you really fine?"
Dean: "I don't know, Cas. But that's what I'm supposed to say, right? I'm fine, keep on moving? That's what we all say."
Cas: "No, Dean."
Dean: "Okay. There's this pounding in my head. It never stops. Michael's in there, and he is fighting hard to get out. And I can't let my guard down, not for a second. I'm barely even sleeping."
Cas: "Well, that's not sustainable."
Dean: "No. No. It's probably not. But no point in complaining about it. It's on me."
Cas: "No. It's on us. We are here to help you."
Dean: "I know. I know that. And I appreciate that. I do. Look, before the kid gets back - I know I agreed to give you guys time."
Cas: "Hey, Dean, and we will find a solution."
Dean: "Okay. But if - if you don't we still have Plan B."
Cas: "Dean, come on."
Dean: "Coffin. Ocean. Done." 14.14

Jack: "I hate seeing him like that. But he's gonna be okay, right? I mean, it's Dean. He... It was a fight. It was - It was just a fight."
Cas: "Every time we go out, there's always a risk."
Jack: "I-I can't think about losing him or - or Sam or you. I-I just - I hate - I hate thinking about it."
Cas: "Yeah. So do I. But, Jack you know, Sam and Dean, they're human, and they're very extraordinary, brave, special humans, but they're - they're still humans. And humans burn bright, but for a very brief time compared to, you know, things like us. And eventually, they're gone, even the very best ones, and we have to carry on. It's just - It's part of growing up."
Jack: "Losing people?"
Cas: "Yes."
Jack: "What's the point? What's the point of being a cosmic being if everyone I care about is just gonna leave?"
Cas: "The point is that they were here at all and you got to know them, you. When they're gone, it will hurt, but that hurt will remind you of how much you loved them."
Jack: "That sounds... awful."
Cas: "It is. But it's also living. So when Dean wakes up - and he will wake up - we just have to remember to appreciate the time that we all have together now."
Jack: "What if he doesn't wake up? What if -"
Cas: "I don't know, Jack." 14.14
Cas: "I could heal you. If you'll let me."
Mary: "I'm - I'm okay."
Cas: "Are you still afraid of me?"
Mary: "Maybe a little. I haven't been back that long. Angels are real. Angels are friends. Angels can heal you with a wave of a glowy hand. I - It's all pretty new still. We should get back. Boys will be waiting."
Cas: "I know you know this, Mary, but, um, Sam and Dean - they're - they're glad to have you back. Whatever you still have to deal with and however long it takes, you should know they're happy. I mean, finally, they don't have to be so, um, so alone."
Mary: "Castiel. They were never alone. They were never alone." 14.18
Dean: "I swear, if he did something to her, if she is -" [points to Cas] "Then you're dead to me." [Cas looks crushed after Dean said that.]
Sam: "Dean."
Dean: "No, he knew. He knew something was wrong with the kid. He knew it, and he didn't tell us! He didn't even tell us!"
Cas: "I was scared. I believed in Jack for so long, I I believed that he was - he was good. I - I knew that he would be good for the world. And he was good for us. My faith in him, it - it never wavered, and then I-I saw what he did. It wasn't malice. It wasn't evil. It was like Jack saw a problem, and in his mind, he just solved it. What he did wasn't bad. It was the absence of good. And I saw that in him. But we were a family, and I didn't want to lose that. So I thought I could fix it on my own. Felt like it was my responsibility. So I left. And I didn't tell you. If I could go back and just - just talk to him right then and there, I would. But I can't, Dean. I failed you. And I -"
Dean: "No, no. Don't even say it." 14.18
Sam: "So, what do we do?"
Dean: "What do we always do when we lose one of our own? We fight. We fight to bring them back." 14.18
[Jack looks up to see Dean standing near them with the gun in his hand. Cas stands up to block Jack as Dean approaches.]
Dean: "Cas, step aside."
Cas: "Dean."
Dean: "Step aside!"
Cas: "Jack, go. Run. You have to." 14.20
