It's the last night of autumn, the trees all turned brown,
the forest decaying, with it's dry barren crown,
It's the last day of November,
no more yellow and amber,
just leaves tumbling down,
So welcome december.
Snow starts to fall, the light fades so soon.
And the night covers all, not long after noon.
The longer I wander and stare at the skies,
The more I wonder, why everything dies.
Even the stars are drifting farther away,
And even winter must go, because nothing can stay.
