Jack: "You and Castiel... you're my family."
Dean: "Yes, we are."
Dean: "Yeah, but isn't he too fast and furious for angels?"
Cas: "Maybe. Maybe not. That's what I'm gonna find out."
Sam: "Find out from who? From – from the angels?"
Cas: "Yes."
Dean [stands up]: "All right. Well, let's go."
Cas: "Dean, you can't accompany me. My contact is already anxious about meeting and won't speak in the presence of a stranger."
Dean: "So introduce me. Then I'm not a stranger. I'll bring a six-pack."
Cas: "Dean, I swore I would protect this boy. Let me do this." [walks toward the war room]
Dean: "Don't do anything stupid." 13.07
Dean [over the phone]: "Cas, any news on Jack? We need to find him fast."
Cas: "Nothing yet, but... interesting things are happening. We..."
Dean: "What?
Cas [noticing Lucifer is standing beside him]: "Yes, I would like to see you, too, the sooner the better."
Lucifer: "Cas? You know, smooth was never your strong suit." [grabs the phone from Cas and disconnects the call]
Cas: "Hey!"
Sam [in the bunker library]: "What's up?"
Dean: "Something didn't seem right." 13.07
Cas just flirted with me and I don't know what to do. He must be in trouble.
Dean: "How we looking? You still got a lock on Cas's signal?"
Sam: "Sure do. I nailed down his location. He's not much further, so... Don't worry. You did tell him not to do anything stupid."
Dean: "Right. When's the last time that's worked?" 13.07
Cas: "That's why I met with Lucifer."
Dean: "So... You met... Cas, I specifically told you not to do anything stupid."
Cas: "Well, he was weak and given the context of our imminent annihilation it didn't seem stupid. Asmodeus showed up before we could finish our conversation. And when we finally managed to escape... Lucifer did try to kill me." 13.13
Dean: "Cas, I'm sorry. All that time you were with Asmodeus... I should have known it wasn't you."
Cas: "No, he's a shapeshifter. Besides, I was the one who got myself captured."
Dean: "Yeah, but if Sam and I knew, you know, we would have –"
Cas: "Yeah, I know you would have tried another long shot. I'm fine, Dean."
Dean: "You sure about that?"
Cas: "(...) I intend to keep that promise." 13.13

Donatello: "They were ancient warriors who enslaved half the Fertile Crescent, until some priests cast a spell to bind them away in "a place without a place and a time without a time."
Dean: "Okay, so we're supposed to find these guys and cut out their hearts? How?"
Donatello: "The demon tablet has very specific instructions on how to free them. These men are very dangerous."
Cas: "Then I'll do it."
Dean: "I'll go with you." 13.14
Dean: "How are you holdin' up, Cas?"
Cas: "I'm fine."
Dean: "No, I just mean with, you know, everything you've been through. And... I know you really wanna find Lucifer."
Cas: "No, it's not that. It's about... well, it is that, but it's also I... Dean, I was - I was dead."
Dean: "Temporarily."
Cas: "And I have to believe I was brought back for a reason."
Dean: "You were. Okay, Jack brought you back because we needed you back."
Cas: "Right. (...) And if Michael really is coming, maybe I was brought back to help prepare."
Dean: "Prepare for what?"
Cas: "War. War is what Michael does."
Dean: "Well, then we do what we do. Whatever it takes." [pats Cas on the shoulder and leaves the bunker, Cas follows] 13.14
Cas: "Well, Donatello said that Gog and Magog can only be killed by a weapon touched by God, so angel blade." [passes his angel blade to Dean]
Dean: "Alright. Let's rock and roll."
Cas starts Enochian spell, but nothing seems to happen.
Dean: "Well, Enochian's kinda tough. Maybe you got a word wrong."
Cas: "I don't get words wrong." [Gog and Magog appear from behind them.] "I told you." [Dean laughs at Gog and Magog who are dressed in armour and loincloths.] "This is serious."
Dean [stifles laugh]: "Yeah, no, no, I-I-I know. But... they're wearing - they're wearing loincloths."
Cas: "Dean."
[Gog and Magog are speaking in ancient Canaanite]
Magog: "... as soon as we kill these fellows!"
Gog: "Good! Good! Which shall we kill first?"
Magog: "I will kill the pretty one."
Gog: "They are equally pretty."
Magog: "The smaller one, then. — Enough! You! Embrace your beautiful death!" [takes out his sword and walks toward Dean]
Cas: "Uh, he just said that he's gonna - he's gonna -"
Dean: "No, I got it."
[Magog swings his sword at Dean as Gog starts fighting Cas. Dean lifts up the angel blade, but Magog shatters it with his sword.]
Dean: "Cas! What the hell?!"
[Fight scene. ... Dean beheads Magog with his own sword.]
Gog [approaches Cas with his sword and raises it]: "I hate doing this! You are very beautiful!"
[Dean comes up behind Gog and stabs him with the sword. He falls to the ground next to Cas.] 13.14
Cas watches from the laptop as Dean starts choking. He gets up and runs towards the dungeon. Donatello laughs maniacally as Sam grabs Dean's arm and wraps it around his own neck, supporting Dean. They walk out of the room into the hallway. Sam holds Dean against the wall. Cas approaches.
Cas: "Dean! Dean!"
Dean [starts to breathe again]: "I'm okay. I'm okay."
Cas looks into the room and glares at Donatello. 13.14
Donatello is still tied to the chair. Cas walks in and shuts the door, locking it behind him.
Dean: "Cas!" [bangs against the door] "Cas! Come on, let us in!"
Cas takes off his trench coat standing in front of Donatello.
Cas: "Well, I'm not Sam and Dean."
Donatello: "What are you gonna do?"
Cas: "I am going to do something that I promised I would never do to a human being without their permission. I'm gonna strip the spell from your mind."
Donatello: "You - you - you - you can't. I - I've absorbed too much power. Y-y-you'll fry us both!"
Cas: "I might." [raises his hand and places it on Donatello's head]
Donatello: "Ardeat intus -" [Cas covers Donatello's mouth and stops him from saying the spell.] Cas: "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to let you or anyone hurt the people I love. Not again." [places his fingers on Donatello's head. Donatello screams. Cas's eyes start to glow.] 13.14
Sam: "Well... guess you could say Donatello is alive."
Cas: "You told me not to kill him."
Dean: "Yeah, but, Cas, you turned him into... he's brain dead. Machines keeping him breathing. What's wrong with you?"
Cas: "Nothing. His soul was gone. He was corrupted. He was a danger to himself and to you and to all of humanity. (...) Some people just can't be saved."
Dean: "Yeah, but who gets to make that choice? You? What exactly gives you the right?"
Cas: "Nothing. I took it. And if I hadn't acted, we would still be sitting around and talking about what to do next. We would be wasting time. And it's time we don't have, Dean. I told you, war is coming. War. And I did what soldiers do. Now we needed the spell to open the rift, and I got it. (...) We can bring everybody home. And together, we can beat Lucifer and Michael. This is the only way we win, and this is the only way we survive. It's like you said, Dean. Whatever it takes." 13.14
Dean [yelling]: "If we can't open the door, then I should've never come back! Every time!" [puts his hands on his head and turns away from Sam and Castiel] "Every time we get close, it always falls apart. Every freakin' time."
Cas: "Dean... we will find Gabriel. We will." 13.18
The bunker kitchen. Dean makes himself a cup of coffee and talks with Cas.
Dean [sips his coffee]: "Nah. I need a real drink. I'm gonna get a beer. You wanna beer?"
Cas: "No."
Dean: "I'll get a beer." [gives Cas a beer too]
Cas: "The Angels. Maybe Heaven could help us."
Dean: "Ah, not for nothing, but don't the angels mostly want to kill you?"
Cas: "Yes. Yeah. This would be something of a Hail Mary. It's a sports term, like slam dunk or, uh... ball handler."
Dean: "That's, uh... Mnh-mnh. No, I don't think it's a good idea."
Cas: "Well, Dean, we don't have any good ideas."
Dean: "Okay, just... let's just not barrel through with that like, uh, you know, like the Donatello thing."
Cas: "We had our disagreement, but we got results."
Dean: "That don't make it okay."
Cas: "I hear your concerns, and yes, the angels loathe me, and there's going to be dangers, but Heaven doesn't want the world to end any more than we do. This is - This is something that I have to try."
Dean: "Doesn't matter what the reason is. That's not okay! Cas, you wanna try this angel thing, then go for it. Just don't get dead again." 13.19
Cas: "Have you, uh have you thought about what's next, after we get back to earth?"
Gabriel: "(...) I did tick off some, uh, bucket list items recently. Got some revenge. Had sex with a 300-year-old redhead." [Cas turns his head and looks at Dean.] 13.21
AW-Castiel: "You align yourself with the humans."
Cas: "I vastly prefer them to angels."
AW-Castiel: "Don't think that you are better than me. Well, we are the same."
Cas: "Yes. We are."
[Cas stabs AW-Castiel with the angel blade. AW-Castiel screams and then dies with bluish-white light coming from his eyes and mouth. Cas lets the body of his doppelganger fall to the ground. Cas looks at him for a minute before leaving.] 13.22
The one difference in that universe is that the brothers were never born. So that means the one thing that made the difference for Castiel was meeting Dean. Because love changes everything.
Dean: "You're just having a bad dream. I have 'em, too. All the time."
Jack: "You do? What do you see?"
Dean: "People I couldn't save." 13.23
You remember who Dean lost at the beginning of the season, right? Right.
Michael: "Now in this banged up meatsuit... not happening. This is the end, of everything."
Dean: "No. What if... what if you had your sword?"
Castiel: "Dean, no."
Dean: "I am your sword. Your perfect vessel. With me, you'd be stronger than you've ever been. If we work together, can we beat Lucifer?"
Castiel: "Dean..."
Michael: "We'd have a chance."
Castiel: "Dean, you can't..."
Dean: "Lucifer has Sam. He has Jack. Cas, I don't have a choice!" 13.23
In that moment Dean essentially stopped being Dean. And that long before he had even said the small word Yes to Michael. Dean refers to himself as an object here. Dean is giving up being a person, giving up his individuality, his everything. Cas was never ever seen in that much absolute despair and it's over Dean saying Yes to Michael.
