There are several ways to find gems on Belletristica. You can collect, combine or trade them for fairy dust. There are 7 types of gemstones on Belletristica:



Ruby, emerald, saphire, topaz, diamond, amethyst and obsidian.

Besides that, every gemstone comes in 6 different sizes, from tiny shards to perfect jewels.

Gemstones are to be found mainly in tresure chests. Those chests contain mostly small gems though.

You can combine 3 gemstones of the same color and level in order to create a bigger and more valuable one.

The force that lies within gemstones has not awaken yet. It's not until the release of the Gem Powers mini update that those powers will become usable.

When the time has come, you will be able to equip your texts with gems in order to add special effects to them. Gemstones might also reveal secret paths to you...

If you aren't interested in such things, you can exchange your gemstones for some extra fairy dust in order to level up faster - in this case, however, it is advisable to collect and combine gems before you do so, since their value grows along with their size.
