Isabella giggled softly when she saw Noemi emerging from her room.
The three year old had wanted to dress herself alone and since they had more than enough time today, Isabella had decided to let her.
Now Noemi had been ready and came waddling out of the room swaddled in bulky clothes.
Isabella studied her and smiled softly.
»Did you pull on all of your favourite clothes?«, she asked her.
»Yes, mommy … is cold … be warm«, Noemi told her and hearing these words made Isabella smile widen.
The young mother nodded in understanding and helped Noemi pull on her shoes and coat, before pulling on her own.
A moment later they exited the house holding hands.
Their breath puffed in misty clouds out of their noses and mouths tainting the clear and crisp autumn morning.
Noemi giggled happily and her eyes were wide as she took her surroundings in just like she did every morning.
There were so many new things to see outside every morning.
The colour of the leaves changed every day, the shape of the clouds did too and the dew on the grass and bushes was frosted over and twinkled in the morning light.
Isabella enjoyed watching her daughter explore the world everyday anew. It was a beautiful sight. One she didn't want to miss for any reason.
