For those of you who don't know, Tim Rose, the actor who plays Admiral Ackbar in Star Wars, recently revealed that he and his character were disrespected by Rian Johnson in The Last Jedi. Rian Johnson already has a reputation for being careless and disrespectful towards fans who don't like The Last Jedi. He also doesn't seem to care about Star Wars, period. Don't believe me? The Last Jedi has a lot that goes to show how much he seems to not care about Star Wars. More on that in another entry, though. Johnson gave Ackbar one of the worst deaths in the history of Star Wars and laughed it off in front of Tim Rose. Rose was expecting a bigger role in The Last Jedi. Trashing old actors and characters, laughing it off, and upsetting actors is totally unacceptable. It makes me angry and heartbroken that Lucasfilm is treating the old actors and their characters this way. I love the sequels, Lucasfilm and Disney. However, this trashing of the old cast members and their characters has got to stop.
