All I Ask of You: I love this song, too. It's beautiful. Emmy and Patrick do a great job of singing this beautiful duet.
Down Once More/Track Down This Murderer: I love this song. Gerry sounds like he's yelling rather than singing when he attempts to sing the word "hell," and Emmy is too quiet when she sings, "Pitiful creature" but other than that, I love that Gerry's voice is rough when he sings this song and I love Emmy's vocals, too. Also, the way his voice breaks when he sings the line "which poisons our love" gets me every time. I think Gerry's rough, unpolished voice works, especially during this song because his character is very angry and his emotions are more evident. As I've also said in previous entries, the Phantom in the book is not a trained singer. He taught himself. Plus, Andrew Lloyd Webber was trying something different with the movie. Please don't tell me that I need to clean out my ears. My ears are clean. I just love Gerry's, Emmy's, and Patrick's vocals. Also, the way Emmy sings "The tears I might have shed for your dark fate grow cold and turn to tears of HATE!" is wonderful in my opinion.
The Phantom of the Opera: I love this version of this song! Gerry and Emmy complement each other vocally.
The Music of the Night: Gerry sounds like a true Angel of Music when he sings this. This is hands down my favorite rendition of this song.
