Thorius arboreus ist eine Salamanderart aus der Familie der Plethodontidae. Er ist endemisch in Sierra de Juarez, Oaxaca, Mexiko. Die Art ist baumlebend. Das beeindruckend an dieser Salamanderart ist ihre kleine Größe. Zwar sind Winzlinge in der Gattung Thorius nicht ungewöhnlich, aber keine andere Art bleibt kleiner als dieser Slamander. Männchen erreichen Körperlängen von 16,1 bis 18,4 Millimetern und Weibchen 15,2 bis 20 Millimeter.
